Hmmm...
Desaturation+overexpose by a stop+added contrast+liberal burning and dodging, kinda the same thing I'd do in the darkroom for the shot. I'm really stoked on it at 1600 pixels wide, you can almost feel the texture of the boots.
I've found I take much better B&W pictures now that I've printed and enlarged with B&W film.
