Yep - Primitivo I've found to be less refined than California zins. Although I've not had alot of either.

And I can't say I've ever tasted strawberry overtones in a pinot....

Of course, I ain't no conneesewer.

CostCo usually gets pretty good berries. Not as good as back home (Michigan).....
