Soo... does this product actually prevent pinchflats? According to this helpful marketing image (I didn't read any text explaining the image) it appears a pinchflat is occuring:

Has anyone run cushcore with Mavic 823 rims? Interested in trying this as insurance for a big Whistler trip next season. Given the difficulty of install, I'm concerned that the narrow ID of the 823 will make it an even bigger PITA. Any thoughts or experiences welcome.

Have tried cushcore on i9 grade (28.5 and 30.5mm) rims and am a fan but never set it up on 823s.

from what I remember of 823s I'd be surprised if you could even get the tire on with a cushcore thingy

So...in all of my experience with trying procore, cushcore, dh tires, and all the variables and combos in betwenn?...ultimately, it depends. For me, for now? Dh tires.

i have also learned that the 26" version of cushcore (pro) has been discontinued. there's still inventory to be had, for now anyways.
