Certainly enough to have gotten us better sandwiches than the crap they offered yesterday.
Don't get me wrong, I love what I do. I just hate the environment in which it happens. One of the reasons I enjoy and prefer to work nights is not having to deal with as much managerial bullshit.

I doubt that rotor ever gets hot.
I was thinking more like to run lights, (like the old tire generators) but whatevs.
In theory you could do this with a Peltier (TEG) generator but there are several problems. They aren't very efficient and you would need to somehow channel all of the heat through the generator which would be really difficult for a brake. A generator that directly applies braking force would be a better solution like in electric vehicle. An eddy current generator would be an interesting concept.
