My first time riding Mile Creek [Lionhead] I got to my overnight camp spot at the trailhead around midnight, put up the tent and then walked over to the trailhead sign, where I saw a note that the trail was closed.
Some cows had gotten into Larkspur [died] and the forest service was going to blow them up to reduce grizzly bear conflict.
It was too late and I was too tired to move on, but every time the wind rustled my tent I popped up ready to meet my maker...
