Lazy American!
You get used to it. Everyone in yurp is raised on manual and imho more gears = better. Well up to a certain point but even though automatic gearboxes supposedly shift faster I dont like them. They feel awfull and you have less controll over your car. Tried the latest DSG and hated it.
I tried to tell people that I saw this once before when my dog treed one.

Groundhog. Big, big groundhog. I spooked it as soon as I got out of the truck and ran back to get my camera. Got right up to him...maybe 10 feet up.
Started feeling sorry for him thinking he was gonna fall any minute and went on about my day.
