The car is probably in gear, on jackstands or on a lift with the drive wheels off the ground, thats why we don't see the view thru the windshield.
I5 in 6th gear with the cruise set, actually. Xmas road trip was 1600+ miles in 4 days at about 28mpg average. I really do love this damn car.

Dirty girl.

So which one did you end up getting. I did not see a thread with the specs?
'01 M6 Base Coupe with Z51 handling package and Z06 brake ducts. I wanted a Z06 real bad, but I needed the space of the coupe (and I will soon have a glass top). I will add Z06 wheels (17x9.5/18x10.5) and C6 Z51 sway bars. I would like to get some seats (Corvette seats are awful) and it needs a stereo, I just have to wait.

Want...

<edit> It's got 80k on it (75k when I got it Thanksgiving  )

I think it's like $250 on ebay from a shop in Australia. In the Navy I got to see some Nakamichi gear in Hong Kong that was amazing. My brother and I built a 100W pro class truck that used all Nak except for the active crossovers and amp (Nak didn't make a 100w amp). Won IASCA Nationals in '90, the sound was amazing.

I just think that deck looks nice and fits well in my interior. Plus it uses a knob for volume, a must.

In a van.... down by the river

Avalanche Description: A party of backcountry skiers triggered an extensive avalanche on an easterly aspect around noon on 2/1. They called the Clear Creek Country Sheriff to report that no-one was caught, and the CAIC to report the avalanche. The narrative is from their conversation and follow-up information.

Party was skiing the southeast-most “run” on Pt 12118 (sometimes called Sunshine Peak). A skier triggered a small pocket on a convex roll. They estimated the dimensions of the pocket as 5 feet by 5 feet. “…initially...we saw the pocket, which was isolated. We didn't see any cracks or movement from that pocket. Seconds later the ridge started moving” in an “enormous” amount of snow. They were about four hundred vertical feet below the avalanche crown.

The crown extended northwards along the ridge. The face is very steep, rocky, with extensive cross loading. Several avalanche paths drain from the face, and debris flowed down three of them.
