Nothing but hippies here anyway. :nope:
You did and I'll never forget it. I was cautioned about living in that particular area by a good friend.

some graffiti i read in the men's room of Anna's Taqueiria last night may help:

Man was born to live, not to prepare for life.
To bad I always hear my dad in the back of my head "are you saving for retirement?"

Tell your Dad to live his own damn life. :p

-S.S.-

Edit: The problem with worrying extensively about if you'll have enough retirement money is:

1) You'll be old then
2) You might die before you have a chance to use the $$$$

My dad was awesome too! I loved him until the day he died. But I wasn't about to live in Michigan just because my family liked to live there........ :D

See thing is there are a lot of things I like about this area too. I'm just ready for a change.

This isn't going to be a Biggins-esque change is it? Talk and talk and talk about Flagstaff, then don't actually go......

I know thats why I'm looking to move.
At least do it. Even if it's just for awhile. Contrary to popular belief, ain't *NONE* of us getting any younger.

"Ahhhh... I've got a really comfortable retirement, but I never got to do the things that I wanted to do when I was young."

You don't want that to be you, do you?

Stosh, I've been to every state except Alaska. Over and over again, for years.

My summary of America: It's a rad country, filled with idiots who can't drive.

My favorite place is the Bay Area, but not because I'm from here. It's because being everywhere else made me appreciate why my family lived here and raised me here. It has everything except snow, which isn't too far away.

Portland or Seattle would be second choice, depending on job prospects.

I went for an interview in Philly 2 weeks ago and it went really well. I still haven't heard back from the guy and I even made a follow up call. He had said at the end of the meeting that had I been there 3 weeks ago he would have hired me on the spot. Apparently he had just hired a friend of his or something.
Anyway Aubrey and I are trying to come up with a week/weekend we can go to NC to check it out.

PS. I have the money saved up for "the ring" so I'm working on picking one out.
