I wouldn't, good thing they don't make onecome on really, who would buy the santa cruz road bike?

They've made road bikes for years. Met a few roadies who liked them well enough.come on really, who would buy the santa cruz road bike?
but yea, all they care about is how it looks. then ride quality.

you can still get the roadster...I wouldn't, good thing they don't make one
get something else besides a santa cruz... bianchi cross concept or a surlly cross check.Sweet, been thinking about getting a cross bike.
Why in the name of god should he do that?get something else besides a santa cruz... bianchi cross concept or a surlly cross check.
It is 67 degrees. But when setting in suspension its around 65 degrees. Is it just me or the V10 HA looks very steep?
If they fix the geo I'm amped!I heard that they're going to present a new Vp-free together with V10 in
October. All I know is it's going to be lighter with mono top tube. I wonder if they make it's geo more dh and transform the VPfree to something like SOCOM.
yes it is.....why make a big hump that cuts into standover? seriously....Is it really just a lot of hate toward the hydroformed hump thingy or is it something else?
couple of reasons...get something else besides a santa cruz... bianchi cross concept or a surlly cross check.
Help me understand why standover, within reason, matters on a DH bike? The hump is so far forward that your legs don't contact it and last time I road DH I wasn't sitting on the top tube. Maybe I'll try that nest time.yes it is.....why make a big hump that cuts into standover? seriously....
for those of us that like to move the bike around a lot under us, and don't like hitting our knees on the top tube, it doesn't make sense......whatever, different strokes......Help me understand why standover, within reason, matters on a DH bike? The hump is so far forward that your legs don't contact it and last time I road DH I wasn't sitting on the top tube. Maybe I'll try that nest time.
The hump makes sense from a structural standpoint.
Most of it is mental.I never really understood standover issues in the first place. after all, when you're riding the bike, your on it, not standing over it.
Just an observation but Rennie races on it and he's no small dude. Not digging the top tube on the V-10 and the rear carbon link is just down right scary!!
Are you sure about that? That is steep for an 8" fork on a dedicated race bike. All the top bikes are 65 - 64 before sag, and some top pros run even slacker on custom made bikes. It is 67 degrees. But when setting in suspension its around 65 degrees.
I think he found the 67 on the SC website. That can be achived with an 8" travel boxxer sitting at the minimum A-C distance. I have mine set up at 66 degree static. Are you sure about that? Wear a cup...... or don't crash....Most of it is mental.
But when you do come off your bike and your wedding tackle is heading towards metal, it kinda nifty not to have a ball catcher waiting on you.
