Well I just watched somebody lane drift, overcorrect, hit the curb, then then themselves violently into the end of the guard rail. And then, somehow pull back onto the road without rolling backwards into the Platte, drive away. I doubt they got too far though...
I get to go pull up the dashcam footage and see what I've got now.

Had to google that. I drove along the Platte in Nebraska 4 times last year. We overnighted the horses In Ogallala each time. I didn't think that it went down your way, last time I was in Denver was over 20 years ago switching planes on my way to a trade show in Atlanta. Other that that I've only been going down by Durango to visit friends

There is the N. Platte and S. Platte, and forks of said N and S Platte rivers. See the link below. There's a light pole right where Santa Fe and Platte split, just before the bridge. That's where he(?) hit and was hanging off the side. It doesn't look like it from above, but it's a relatively steep drop off behind.
The numbers of people driving under the influence at night on a weekend are significant.
Looking only at the hours from midnight to 3 a.m., 66 percent of drivers in single-vehicle crashes, and 37 percent of drivers in multiple-vehicle crashes, were alcohol-impaired.
And honestly, I don't think Semenuks edit was over the top, I have a hard time telling his edits apart at this point. He has a formula, and he sticks with it. That's not necessarily a bad thing. But you know exactly what it's gonna be before you even press play. Kinda like an AC/DC record.
