Good to hear, I know we rebuilt it at least 3 times when I was out there and I think the guys rebuilt it a couple more times.
Yeah it was sweet...We tweaked the berm into the jump a little bit to make it a little bit steeper and so it would be able to hold you in more at speed hope you guys don't mind too much, but it felt MUCH better after it was dug out just a bit more.

Sunday after doing some Downhilling with some friends I stoped by Morewood on the way home to hit up Gerrits Dirt Jumps for a little while. For some reason I couldn't find my normal flow and didn't get past the secound jump of the smaller set. I took pictures instead. Here are a few shots.

We have to finish/shape that berm anyways. Ask next time before altering stuff. It doesn't matter too much with that berm because that whole line is still a work in progress, but we really want to keep all work done on sanctioned workdays or by club members only to prevent a "free-for-all" situation out there.

Thanks for the help though. We are going to have a ride/dig day out there this Saturday if you guys wanna come back down.

Normally we would have asked since it is your trail and all but no one was there and if we hit it with speed you would just fly out the other side into the woods. I understand where your coming from though, one of your guys was out there with us but couldn't tell ya who. Might try to make it out sat if its not rainin

Come on down. We will be painting the wall ride and dialing in the new section.

awesome dave!!! your boy is huge! i think he's bigger than noah wass at 7 ;)

LOL, yeah he is big....something like 97th percentile for height! Was cool to see the look in his eyes after he rode down the hill the first time and then says........"Daddy! Do you think you could carry my bike back up there so I can do that again!"

Way to go Dave. My dad got me into mtb and I can't imagine what I'd be doing without it.

he's about ready for a 20". if noah wasn't in the 20th percentile on the growth chart he'd be on a 24" by now and i'd hook you up with his pimp mtb ...but alas, he'll be in middle school by the time he can fit on something bigger than a 20 ;)
