only the best impress you, eh?I wasn't too impressed with the Stroker Trail's that i tried at interbike dirt demo.
Are you canadain now eh? Next thing you'll be buying a Cove and calling yourself Steve.only the best impress you, eh?
OMG take a fluid dynamics class or something.haha, the only reason I clicked on this was the title "stroker?" immediately brought up thoughts of "PIIHB"
now back to the issue at hand. The design is very similar to the brake master cylinder of a car. It looks like a more efficient hydraulic system for incremental pressure changes. But, much like a car's master cylinder, it can't put very much pressure through the lines... hence the presense of a "brake booster". I figure you can get more braking power if you get a brake line with wider passages. just my $0.02
I refuse to. My assbackwards logic is sufficient for my current occupationOMG take a fluid dynamics class or something.
Highschool physics covered that stuff for me.OMG take a fluid dynamics class or something.
Lol, i do work on cars all day long, and its not teh Master design why a car uses a Power booster, its the leverage ratio combined with the Pushing pinston vs Pushed Piston.I refuse to. My assbackwards logic is sufficient for my current occupation
You try working on General Motor's vehicles all day and see if you logic doesn't get screwed up
SHimano has there version also, and i really like themI ran them for a few weeks, and returned them, sticking to saints or xt
exactly... who needs brakes anyways... trees and rocks are more than enough to slow you downI am ripping off my brakes to save weight in favor of running my shoe on the rear tire.
define "solve". oster_oops:did hayes and muchachos solve their problems?
stop adding wood to the firepit.... dang, you are bored in WisCHANsen.... goodness....define "solve". oster_oops:
in other news, FUNN had some neat little disc brakes on display at interbike...
That's a pretty crazy issue they have going over there.stop adding wood to the firepit.... dang, you are bored in WisCHANsen.... goodness....
Michael
That sounds backwards.Running them on my trail bike ('06 IH MkIII).
They work great for trail riding. I really do love them.
I'll stick to my HFX 9's on my bigger bike though (with Danger Boy levers).
Real men run their shoe in in the front tire so they can do stoppies in the finish area after they've won.I am ripping off my brakes to save weight in favor of running my shoe on the rear tire.
noted, I feel like such a woman now.Real men run their shoe in in the front tire so they can do stoppies in the finish area after they've won.
