Was away for work for a couple of days over my birthday, but got out yesterday for a good ride at Rattling Creek (this plus a little more: https://www.trailforks.com/route/rattling-creek-imba-epic/). Rocky AF and It's different on a hardtail for sure. Trails are so rocky and anti-flow that it feels like twice the elevation. Saw a the first rattle snake of the season and had a double puncture, but was able to plug it and finish the whole ride. Great to be on the mtb, I've been riding a lot of road lately.

And there was cake. Chocolate cake with peanut butter icing, which is the best cake.

A friend and I are hoping to hit Rattling Creek pretty soon...

There were a few trees down that were too big to ride over on Fawn Kill and Doc Smith, but things were otherwise in great shape. Not muddy, not (yet) overgrown.

No trees down on Wolf Pond or Rocks Ridge, just uninterrupted rocky goodness.
