He sold his soul for the Republican nomination. The McCain of 8 years ago was someone I would have voted for, but he got swift-boated by the neo-cons. He had to conform to the hive to win his ticket.

Yep, classy speech. Supporters will be supporters, and I actually think he was a bit annoyed with their boos. Maybe that was just wishful thinking though.
I doubt it. As someone mentioned, he sold his soul to the GOP to get the slot as nominee. From what I have read, he is a pretty stand up guy otherwise.
