Good morning Monkeys! 50/50 on doing the group ride tonight, its going to hit 100 and I am not sure how much tired I still am. During my post ride inspection yesterday I found the rear tire on my GT is no longer true and my dropper post no longer functions. The set-up is seeping oil at the remote.

You mean Halley's Comet? Pronounced Hal-ee. Versus Haley? Pronounced Hay-lee.

Thank you, try again.
Pronunciation
Comet Halley is commonly pronounced /ˈhæli/, rhyming with valley, or /ˈheɪli/, rhyming with daily.
Colin Ronan, one of Edmond Halley's biographers, preferred /ˈhɔːli/ (HAW-lee, similar to holly).
Spellings of Halley's name during his lifetime included Hailey, Haley, Hayley, Halley, Hawley, and Hawly, so its contemporary pronunciation is uncertain.

While nobody truly knows the correct pronunciation, it's seems that nobody really gives a shit either.
Except for you, apparently.

Don't do this.

I mean - I know some guys that have tried droppers and gone back to fixed posts... but they are almost EXCLUSIVELY dirt-roadies. :D
The pressure to bleed and perform proper maintenance is intense around this place... I think a bleed kit may have come with the bike. :monkey:

The reverb video contains 2 warnings about fluid cross contamination and then indicated that death could occur. KNAR.

Also: we are calling it gravel biking now.

Floating down the whiskey river...

I attempted the optional line at Dakota Ridge. It did not go so well.

:D
Glad you missed the fence posts... that would have been bad.

As @rockofullr Said, E.13 coil post... completely serviceable at home with standard tools. No bleed required.
XC is still in there too. I did see some people use gravel bikes for parts of the AZT...
