sarcasm?wow, wish i could have gone, if i knew it was going down i would have skipped hood
I was like, you have to be kidding, he doesn't me that little mound of dust?double...
looks more like a bump in the trail to me.
Does it make you feel better about yourself to make fun of others?wow, wish i could have gone, if i knew it was going down i would have skipped hood
Amen---This site is for everyone who loves to ride.I agree with greenhood. I am not a super hucker like some of the people on here, seeing posts making fun of the level of riding makes me apprehensive about hitting things like the port angeles shuttle day. I LOVE to ride, and just remember that when I see posts like the ones above, once apon a time they rode like me!! HOWEVER, there aint nothing wrong with seeing a superhucker hit a huge double that I would not even dream of attempting with style and grace! Just remember folks, we are all on this list cause we just wanna ride our bikes!
Shuttlefever~
The point of doing stuff like Colonnade is to get a Hood near Seattle.wow, wish i could have gone, if i knew it was going down i would have skipped hood
if by molded you mean mixed with sand to create workable dirt then ok. Just because i induldge myself in a little e-humor doesn't mean i havn't put in hours down there. it would be sic to get some nice flowy lines in there (like an open air ray's). just let us (becasue im sure there are others who feel similarly) know when they're going in and we'll be there.if you checked out what was down there you'd know there are 3 piles of clay waiting to be molded.
What do you want me to frikkin tune up your bike too? i'm not your daddy...just let us (becasue im sure there are others who feel similarly) know when they're going in and we'll be there.
Hey man, yah it would be great to have help when the time comes, there is a basic plan for a few lines to be put in. Right now the whole park is being put on hold until the novice section is completed. At that time we are going back to get a grant, if we don't get it, the whole project is in trouble. If we do, we need people who have real experience assisting, because the dirt and limited resources is a tough go. People who have practical experience and maybe some that think outside the box to bring this project to a reality that can make all of mountain bikers proud, whatever style your into.I would go there and make jumps, is there a plain for that trail were the "double" is?
dude...that would be friggen sic I'm so busy working on other people's crappy bikes all day mine never gets any love. What do you want me to frikkin tune up your bike too? i'm not your daddy...
And to the internet all-stars, if you didn't know the best riders rail in relative anyonymity, and most all are cool people, not assholes... it's a fact.
With the grant money the club will decide where it's spent.Ok when the time comes let me know, I got lots of experance.
I have never really spent much money to make a trail. I think we could get wood from freecycle or get it dontanted + there is a bunch sitting there already. The guys at Post Canyon in hood river got a ton of wood for free, on some of there kickers there is a sign with the company that gave it to them. I guess they have to build wood kickers so the moto guys to wreck them....
anyway
How is it working with that clay? Some of the pump track seams pretty sold. I have also seen dirt on freecycle, and I am sure someone knows were to get dirt that would work.
What is left to be built on the novice area?
hehe, just don't blame me if it creaks...dude...that would be friggen sic I'm so busy working on other people's crappy bikes all day mine never gets any love.
