I remember the old Tomac DH bike, as i saw it two years ago at Mammoth, but what happened to them. Is there any info floating around on their 2007 bikes.

i know they are in the process of making a DH bike, an all-mountain bike, and a xc bike, but anyone got pictures or updates?

all I got is whats here at:

yeah they were i got a chance to ride one in the parking lot in Mammoth for a couple of minutes and just with that simple test i new it was one of the better bikes out there. Simple yet unigue. I remember the frame being really thin and shaped like a wing, am i right or is this something else.

No, that's it. The downtube reminded me of a Litespeed Blade TT frame, thin, sharp, narrow.
Great paint too.

I used to have a 204. Bought it used from RM member phil. It was a sweet bike. The geometry was great (steeper than most modern DH bikes, but not overly so...very good in tight stuff), suspension was plush and well constructed and it looked killer. It also probably had the nicest and most sturdy hardware and standards of any bike I've ridden (100mm BB, 165mm hub, big bolts...).

I hope that Tomac comes out with something good...I always liked their frames. The last round of them (MOAH, etc) were a bit lackluster.

Youve never heard of Tomac bikes of Johnny "T" Tomac? That guy was an awesome racer. He's won the Kamakazzi DH like 4or5 times.

Believe it, or don't. Doesn't bother me...

I work for a distributor.

Wish I could post them up, but don't want to piss people at the company off.

I'll be rocking a DH when they're out.

I have a friend who got on of thoughs old ones with a shiver, Fox RC, ect. from some random guy he met at the local DJs. My friend traded his single speed redline DJ bike *not worth more then $500* for the guys Tomac cuz he said he wanted a DJ bike.

I still havent determined if it was a good deal or not.

From personal experience, I can say that the Rotecs (both) work better for me...That white one used to be mine, till some greaseball liberated it from my garage. Now I have one of the new ones. Due to the concentric pivot, the bearings last(ed) longer for me...

Damn it...now I'm all pissed off again about not having my old moto-link....damn it!!!
