Ended up being cheaper than flying with my own too. (and their bike was in way better shape than mine)well that's different
95% of my range time is with a single shot marlin 200L .22 and my dads smith 41. I don't need a penis extension, I need something I can shoot. .500 S&Ws are dumb unless you plan on bear hunting with it (not just protecting yourself)I knew it, I knew it. I swear I said to myself.... Mooshoo is gonna post about the .500 Mag.
You need a new title.... "One Upping Scene Kid"
Buttt bbbuutttt it's a .308 packed in a pistol round!!!!2 grand for a gun that only shoots a few hundred faster and weighs twice and awkward to carry? no thanks, that is the point I will carry a rifle
Nope.....its a .50 cal to be exact95% of my range time is with a single shot marlin 200L .22 and my dads smith 41. I don't need a penis extension, I need something I can shoot. .500 S&Ws are dumb unless you plan on bear hunting with it (not just protecting yourself)
The only penis extension I need are the little .22 inch holes down range

I agree completely, even my pops .44 with a huge barrel is a bit awkward to shoot.
Got into my storage unit and found out some body is borrowing my 454...... Guess I will have to use the trusty ol 44mag. I will just have to get a little closer.
Can't you get a non-resident military tag? Or do you not qualify since you're out?I don't plan on shooting one (tags/fees too expensive) but there has been 4 attacks in the last 2 months in the area I am going to be. I refuse to buried as a steaming heap of bear crap that smells like pepper spray.
I will be floating fishing and hunting for 9 days and making camp along the river as I go. if I down a caribou they will come like a dinner bell
who were you molesting at the airport,Pita.......
Two hour process, made me open it twice and got flagged for molestation at the checkpoint
How do you "discoer" someone is "borrowing" your 454?Got into my storage unit and found out some body is borrowing my 454...... Guess I will have to use the trusty ol 44mag. I will just have to get a little closer.
GFF, among all of us, is most suited for an ongoing Werner Herzog narration of his life.
This. How do you "discoer" someone is "borrowing" your 454?
SHouldnt it be non accessable to others without your knowledge???
Real talk, everything in my house is in a 1000$ weatherby safe. NO ONE else but the fam has accessHow do you "discoer" someone is "borrowing" your 454?

Wait, you live with your parents? I"m so confused now.Real talk, everything in my house is in a 1000$ weatherby safe. NO ONE else but the fam has access
Yup, it's either don't live with them or don't go to school, and when I do transfer to real college next fall the guns aren't going anywhere. I'm not going to have the space or the money to store them properly.Wait, you live with your parents? I"m so confused now.
Known fact: Zombies hate pink.Their pink house is actually a zombie-proof bunker.
So wait, you're saying that in the Zombie Apocalypse Paris Hilton, the Kardashian's, and Brittney Spears won't be eaten? God, it would almost be worth throwing yourself to the brain eating hordes.Known fact: Zombies hate pink.
hypothetical....I just hide my bolt, no need for a safe.
No no no...First ones to go. The color of moosho's house has nothing to do with it being zombie proof (as if there were such a thing! ).So wait, you're saying that in the Zombie Apocalypse Paris Hilton, the Kardashian's, and Brittney Spears won't be eaten? I'm just learning to turn my stubbornness into drive and determination. Besides the week off work I took to go to northstar (and chill out so I didn't start blowing things up) I've had a total of 15 days off with no school or work (yes I'm counting) and this last year have become very familiar with 12 hour days with more homework waiting at home.Actually very impressed to hear that. You're making strides (albeit small) in the right direction, young Jedi..
I take firearms safety VERY seriously actually.Good job on the safe and storage principles MooShoo. Thats how it should be done.
It's the 870 behind the door that makes it zombie proofNo no no...First ones to go. The color of moosho's house has nothing to do with it being zombie proof (as if there were such a thing! ).
jeez...i didn't have half the stress checking in my firearm when going to a DHS school in New Mexico last year. I just declared it at check-in, they filled out a form for me, opened the case to ensure it wasn't loaded and sent it on it's way. the ammo was in a separate case and was tagged as well. seemed pretty painless to me.Flew to Montana with my Rem 700 out of Phoenix. Same thing, was told to be there 4hrs early. Expect to be under constant surveillance the moment you even approach the terminal. I was greeted by security long before I got close to the check desk. Escorted to the security office where they promptly checked my ammo and weapon. Once everything was kosher, I was politely escorted to the check in desk where the attendant nervously tagged the case and placed the key in an envelope and handed it to the rentacop. Rentacop hand carries the case and ammo into the back. I was informed to make sure to check in with the attendants at the departure gate 30min before boarding. Watched the same rentacop walk out with my weapon case and hand it to the luggage loaders. Envelope with key was then walked up the ramp to the flight attendant and handed to the pilot or copilot as soon as they arrived.
Upon arriving in Montana, there was a rentacop waiting for me at the gate and escorted me to baggage. Went in a special room where they had my weapon, ammo, and personal luggage (which was surprisingly missing my usual yellow ziptie on the zippers). Opened weapon case and inspected ammo. Signed some receipt. Rentacop escorts me to the rentacar shuttle and hands me my key in the envelope and I'm off.
Oddly enough, leaving Montana was much easier. Showed up 4 hours and got "wow, you're here early" from the security guy. Didn't escort me to the check in desk and didn't inspect my weapon/ammo. Didn't get the evil eye again till I got back to Phoenix.
All in all, a little bit of stress, but so long as you let them do their thing you should be fine.
