yeah if he doesnt get hurt, or they lose his bike or some other stupid stuffI'm very impressed that cedric not only won, but posted up that much of a gap. Maybe this will be his year. If nothing else he's stll a contender.
Ferreira is young Chilean talent. He kicked arse last year as a Junior and just got into Elite this year...... what a start eh?edit: who is Pedro Ferreira? just a local rider? i didn't know CVD was in attendence either, good result for him.

I was thinking the same. Not to mention the headf*ck it must be looking down on houses coming into it!HOLY sh!t...
The plywood double-drop / step-down at the 1:30 mark looks insane... and in the shadows no less... damn... looks like the last drop is nearly to flat...?
Search on flickr, or terrabike.com/forowhere i can find more pics of the race?
i only got it on the montenbaik.com
just wondering as i have seen this in other videos and pics of street races is why are they using full durt tires for a street race? why wouldn't you use something more suited for the street? yes i seen there is dirt but it was mostly street riding. would it make a difference on what they used? just a thought i had because rally drivers choose based one the road and you would choose different tires based on if its wet or dry or rooted to smooth even muddy.
you can find some pictures of the race here and some of the making of, training day and race day here at pigpants.netwhere i can find more pics of the race?
i only got it on the montenbaik.com
There is some truth to your statement. Holy rollers are obviously faster and used for dirt jumping..... but. Dirt jumps are carved out tracks, traction doesn't usually get any better than that cause every everything is banked. Second those slicks are faster on pavent, but you throw in a slightly off camber cobble stone corner, or any type of ground that is not smooth, your done. If you don't believe me go try it yourself.true, but i was thinking more like holy rollers and the such durt jump style tires urban assault style that dont have huge aggressive nobs aka the maxxis minion dhf.
apparently, not clogged enough to send race reports to all the other mtb news sitePictures are coming, it has been a crazy week and clogged intertubes.
just super clogged where we have been staying up in the andes... we found wifi at the top of the stairs outside some condos in the middle of La Parva.apparently, not clogged enough to send race reports to all the other mtb news site
okay now that looks rad...just super clogged where we have been staying up in the andes... we found wifi at the top of the stairs outside some condos in the middle of La Parva.
i am typing this while sitting outside on some dudes steps.
The Valpo race was nuts, more so than last year. We have been doing shuttle runs all week on some sweet trails (30 minutes top to bottom) in the Andes... and the promoter put us up in a ranch house in the middle of a mountainside cattle and horse farm.
There is another race this weekend at La Parva. Jusrt got back from practice and it will be rad. super loose, lots of rocks up top and then freeway speed fast at the bottom.
okay now that looks rad...
did you get stitches today or was that from the urban race? hope you're okay...getting medical care over there must a bit worrisome.
good luck! can't wait to read the reports and see pics of this La Parva race. will need to keep an eye on those "other" mtb news site
I took a huge digger on a SKETCHY wallride in the 06' Valpo race.
Dislocated my left elbow, and broke my navicular in my right wrist.
I put off going to the doctor, because I was in denial, and thought I could race the RX Cup the following weekend. Needless to say I was never able to ride for the rest of the trip, and was coerced into the ER the next weekend.
Aside from the language barrier, the treatment was great! I paid cash, it was relatively cheap, and I must say it was a very technologically advanced facility. I still have the ex-rays.
gotta get paid!apparently, not clogged enough to send race reports to all the other mtb news site
