I spy Kevlar Renthal grips, can't wait to get my hands on those (literally)!
The non-lock version is badass but a pain to put on and off.

Was Brazil a ridiculously difficult track? From what I've seen it wasn't and its where he got his first win.I'm pretty sure matti only does well on ridiculously difficult tracks. On the more endurance and power based ones he loses focus and hurts himself.
my money is on minnaar because he's a badass. Was Brazil a ridiculously difficult track? From what I've seen it wasn't and its where he got his first win.
My money is on Minnaar because of home court advantage.
Did he ever start really strong? I'd also count Gee out as his always a bit worse at the season start.Gwin has said in the past (I think in a interview from Champery last year) saying that hes not his best in the wet weather.
Though I hope he can pull a win. Especially on the season opener! That would be the best boost in confidence for him and the USA.
I don't think Gwin has. But the pre-world cup season races hes been doing hes been killing it. So who knows. It seems like the training with John Tomac is paying off so far...Did he ever start really strong? I'd also count Gee out as his always a bit worse at the season start.
Maybe though non WC races should not be an idicator. If they were Polc would be top 10 Most of the pros even if they start in them they go easier to avoid injuries.I don't think Gwin has. Definitely let us all how it goes! Pin it brah!!! Post pics!winning!
I doubt I will podium my first pro race tho, hate to be negative but I just dont see it happening, maybe top 10.
Minnaar,
Peaty
Gee

Graves
He has none. Believe me, when ever i've been around him the last few months randoms crawling out the woodwork have put insane pressure on him!! But he's still my pick for the win!Was Brazil a ridiculously difficult track? From what I've seen it wasn't and its where he got his first win.

YEEEAAAAAH , look at third place. Go Hayden!!! what a pinner!! so stocked he's on such good form for the world cup!(Incase you didnt realise, he's the local rider who did that chest cam run on dirt a few weeks ago) Hopefully an international outfit realises how quick he is and picks him up!hope the weather clears up and the track dries out.

I thought he was out due to that crash at the last BDS... His blog makes it sounds like he's not going: http://www.lewisbuchanan.co.uk/Cool to see Lewis Buchannon on the start list, seen him smashing berms at a local riding spot on Sunday, he was fecking flying!!
And it is written, he will arise on the third day to watch the World Cup.So pumped for this. Not so pumped that it starts at 4am here in California on easter morning.
