Those aren't real carbon. They are some type of composite.I have middleburns, a Ti XC BB, a carbon Ibeam saddle, a 5 inch post.

I'm a pretty big weight weenie and I broke that seat in 30min on my trail bike. (I only weigh 165)
My other I-beams have been money though. Just don't go for the super light one.
You f*cking liar!!!!!!! Your bike is 53.5 lbs!!!!!35.5 and it hopefully will get down to 34 by the end of winter.
On a DH? Awesome! What bike/ setup you running?35.5 and it hopefully will get down to 34 by the end of winter.
The funny thing is, now I am probably talking BS, but in my case anyway, I want to put wiehgt on [mysefl] and loose weight off the sled...I'm not against people trying to go lighter with their bikes...but it would be interesting to see a thread asking how much weight could the individual riders lose? Now you're talking about real performance gains....D
i need to see a picture :biggrin:The funny thing is, now I am probably talking BS, but in my case anyway, I want to put wiehgt on [mysefl] and loose weight off the sled...

Well, yeah, but it looks like people came up with some great information about their rigs, and information does get outdated as technology improves. I really see no big deal in posting to see what people think this very day. You might get different responses based on who's looking at the forum as well. I just think its ridiculous for people to criticise other people's posts. Unless its non-bike related...that's what annoys me considering this site is called RIDEmonkey. It's a newb mistake, but just to re-iterate: Before you post or ask a question - try doing a Search first. This place has TONS of info on damn near everything - very useful.
No biggie.
:
No, it was a Morewood Shova ST, which is there XC bike.didn't he ride that race on a slalom bike?
that bike is pimp. it was crazy how light it felt when i picked it up.My friend ricky legitimately has a 34# sunday. I believe the montashu.
And here is the pic I took this morning on the scale... and a few more for good measure...Here's the spec of my new beaut which I need to part with for the next little while unfortunately...[/LIST]
holy crap andre that looks amazing, awsome build! That makes me wanna run that bike even more next year. And here is the pic I took this morning on the scale... and a few more for good measure...
What do you guys think?
Its @ 65.8 with a 180mm Travis @ the minimum rude height. The Izimu runs a 65 with the same setup, so it is a little steeper.Hey Andre, Do you know what the headangle came out to be with that fork?
I have a "Smart" electronic angle finderHow are you measuring the head angle? I've always wanted to know how to do that.
Hit your local hardware store and get an Inclinometer. They are cheap and work great!! Get the bigger dial one like this:How are you measuring the head angle? I've always wanted to know how to do that.
Can you read the scale? The reading on that is 35.64 just in case your vision blurred with the previous pics...
No, there isn't. XTR's don't come in an 83mm shell. Also it seems like you are just trying to make your bike less and less rideable. I could make it explode just by looking at it wrong. And it still doesn't weigh 35.5, you are full of **** and everyone knows it. If you really need me to I will go add up all the gram weights and prove you wrong. And there is a small chance I will get the 07 XTR cranks
