Neighbors Kid Played A song called Everything. So much awesome. She is 11. Plays Piano like a master... Sings like a nightingale.
Since working from home and no rush hour traffic for the last several months, I've been listening to much more chill music all Summer.
Had a rare occurance of events.
No headache for a few hours.
Nobody home to bother.
Nothing on the schedule.
Fired up one of the other older hobbies (Audiofool stereo) and sat down for a bit of a listen.
Marillion - Misplaced Childhood - Side A
Zeppelin - Live, No Quarter
Myles - Kind of Blue - entire album.
Was looking for the next up, but the headache returned, so the audio room was closed down for another undetermined amount of time.

Not sure how this got on TV, guess the late eighties were a bit different down this end of the world.
They tried to reboot the show a few years ago but it would seem that black face is frowned upon, Harry Connick Jr was not impressed at all. Sadly our chosen work radio station still belts out some Harry Connick Jr, it even plays some Boyz 2 Men and Peter Andre.

one thing about covid and the internet.... i'm going down a rabbit hole and discovering a bunch of excellent bands i've missed over the years, rediscovering live shows of long favorite bands, and just generally listening to more music i haven't heard before
which led to this. i had and *loved* this fucking tape. it introduced me to a lot of bands.
