Whats everyone riding and why.
I have ridden med/lg and I am 6'2+ 220 normally and 236 right now. My Karpeil was a med/large and my Canfield is med.
ADDED: PLEASE PUT YOUR STEM LENGTH IN AS WELL!

6'2"
220lbs
canfield F1 medium 22,8 Effective top tube

Its .75" shorter on the TT then what I had the Karpiel sat at and it seems to be perfect, a little snug but right there. I am going back to a 50mm stem vs. the 45mm and set the seat back a smidge.

BTW: I did a search and this info is pretty scatered out and half the time off topic.

i'm 6' 1", about 175#'s and i ride a medium DH rig and a large XC rig.
the TT on the big bike needs to be at least 23" and less then 23.6" and the XC TT needs to be anywhere between 23.75" and 24.3".

i am also a fan of a very low axle to bar length, to the point i am running flat bars this year.

and riding a large bighit frame
22' top tube I believe.

Kinda wish I got a smaller frame though (like a medium) for throwing around.

6', 185, I ride a racelink which comes in at 21.5 or something.

Ideal for me is 23.5. I had an arrow which was perfect with a 50mm stem. I don't "throw" my bike around as some other riders.

My DH bike has a 23 inch toptube and is a medium. DJ is 22.5 and a "long". Running about a 50mm stem on both.

I like my XC/trail bikes to be around a 23.5-24.0. Typically a size 19 frame.

I'm riding what I am because it was cheap (SGS DH and a Specialist), but sizing seems to be spot on. I prefer a smaller bike for gravity-type stuff.

In the Karpiel world a med/large is a med in reality. So basically its the similar sized frame as the Canfield. Jan's small frames were called mediums.

Yeah I measured it before getting the Canfield, I rode the Karp all the way forward just about on the seat mast. I dont ride DH sitting anywase. just plunking around or catching a breath. I started this because I got a little concerned that the cockpit waws a little too small, then I went the the Brothers site and found out they base it on a 5" post showing. I never run a post over 2-3" so it was weird. Pulled it up a little and there it is. SPOT ON!

TT is worthless, but mine's a tad over 22"
Front center is 30.5" according to tape measure

EDIT: 55mm stem (I've run a 40mm, 50mm, and 70mm before). I like the 55 because it's stretched out enough, but I feel like I can turn well still. There was too much weight over the front wheel with the 70mm and when I wanted to manuver the F wheel between rocks it didn't respond easily.

23.5" tt w/ 60mm stem

I rode a 23" tt on my Medium DHR with a 60mm stem and was pretty happy this past season. There were a few times where I would have liked a tad more room, and the Izimu fits that perfectly with a longer f-c (more important... the seat tube is steeper) and a longer tt.

5'10", 190 lbs, riding a 19" Giant DH Team, can't remember the TT length. I don't like the feel of a short DH bike, all my other bikes are around 17".

Got a thomson x4 70mm storm ordered today, it'll be here tomorrow. So now I guess I can find whats right for me.
Danger boy integrated 47mm 244g
marzocchi integrated 53mm 196g
thomson x.4 70mm 146g

Guess I'll take all 3 to the mtn and find out which fits me best. Damn more trial and error.

Sorry had to put the weights. :D

I am 6ft, 180lbs, I have a med dirtbag, 22.3in effective tt. I want a large which is 23.8in, 1.5in jump but I would run a 50 or 60mm stem instead of the 70mm I have now. My last bike, 04 yeti dh9 med was 23.0 and felt good, little short for climbing but otherwise good. climbing is why I want longer.

fsa has a wide variety of lengths and is what I use, they are also reasonably priced.

on my dh9 I used the Marzocchi 888 stem.
