Backup has his socially distanced outdoor theatre performance tonight on the beach. That sounds like a clusterfuck but at least the location is nice.

Wife and oldest are buying a used 2dr Jeep rubicon today. Should be fun for banging around the north woods, if it runs.

New bluestone walkway I didn’t know was getting installed should be done today.

Sold the airstream/bongshed to a friend that needs a place to live while building a house in NH.

Finally got 2018 & 2019 taxes done, getting $10k back. I should do my taxes more often.

Otherwise meh. No time to ride, might go shooting. Might go swimming. Will do best to avoid working in any case.

What a time to be alive.

Storm came through. A third of the state is without power. Tree and power line carnage is everywhere. But, wife and I are good.

Wife has a nasty case of poison ivy thanks to our Sunday MTB ride. She took a fall and landed in some. Poor wife. :( I have never gotten the stuff, but I am not going to test that and wipe my ass with it or anything.

Thinking about setting up a crypto trading bot. I am existentially bored and gambling will surely liven things up. Capital gains taxes though, itemizing, ugh.

watching the Alone show makes me want to pick up archery.
I love Alone. Its amazing to see how even purported survival experts struggle to thrive living off the land.

And archery is a blast. I have a recurve and a compound. Compound feels like cheating cause its so accurate and easy to use. Recurve is more of a purist endeavor and requires more time to become proficient.

58 miles and 4500 verts yesterday morning. I made amazeballs tacos last night, chased by margarita and homebrew. Wife made beans and chorizo, which are now in my eggs. Tabletop nerd games for far later into the night than we should have. I believe I may have a second espresso and then go back to bed.

Yeah I wouldn't want to use a "modern" bow, something that still ressemble a regular bow. I know a fist full of nothing so I had to google recurve and compound. I'd probably just target shoot in my future larger backyard. I love my chipmunks.

Hiked with fam. baby slept all night, too, after one initial bout of unhappiness.

Lunchtime Monkeys.

So my "official" start date is Monday. There is a burning customer issue and they want to know how a new release could have this many issues. They want to see our pre-release test plan.

There isn't one, yet. I just got here. Of course there should have been one a while ago, but yeah. At least it blew up BEFORE I got there. The next one can totally be my fault, if there is a next one (there won't be).
