Looks like he started but didn't finish?

(My best educated guess because everyone else who didn't start it says "did not start" and next to Palmer it says "did not finish")

How well does Barel normally get on in WCs? He's had a lot of injuries in recent years, and focussed on world champs etc - did he used to be a regular podiumer/winner? Or is this new best-form-ever for him at the moment?

He is a threat to win when he is healthy......but with a tore up knee what he is doing is pretty remarkable.

I can't remember anymore......he's won 4-6 WC's i'd say....3 World Championships, i think he won as a junior also....

Seems like he gets injured alomst every year lately. But when he is healthy he is most definitely a threat for podium. Even now when he is injured.....

I don't remember him ever in the race for the overall World Cup though....

One year (2002?) he got DQ'd at World Championships for being a few seconds late to the start gate also.....one of the rawest deal ever.

Other's here probably have a better memory....

kovarik was looking hot up until the last split. he was just behind barel and gaining time until the end. he could put together a smoking run for the finals.

I think 5 World Cup Wins, 2 World Championships wins and 1 Junior World Championship win.
