Manhattan, KS? That's where I went to college. Those DJs still by the Holiday Inn? Those were some sic azz trails. Does homeboy from the base still build there? If you guys know him... tell him I'm "old school."Hey, Thrillseeka......
Let us know when you are headed to Manhattan Ks.
You talking about Jesse Henson? Ya I drive about 2 hours from Kc to ride there every now and then! I'm friends with the Manhattan crew even though the crew changes about 2 times a year.Manhattan, KS? Nice bike! How do the SOS wheels hold up? Just wanted to know as that's the wheels that come on the new STP I just orderd and have not ridden a set of them yet.
Thanks for the info!Yeah, the S.O.S. have treated me well. Pretty light, sturdy, and no probs yet (been running them for a year)
I'm not sure if it was Jesse. I don't remember his name, but that doesn't sound right. I rode there off and on from 99 to 03. We were all on 20" bmx's at the time. Yeah, that place always had a revolving crew. That looks like it, but I'm confused as to where that pic was taken. Which way is the ditch? With like the 4 pack going into it and the 8 pack coming out? I'm glad it's still there. that pic. looks like its at the Manhattan River Trails, which, from what I remeber are a couple of miles away from the Holiday Inn trails. The stuff at the holiday inn was pretty big and well developed. I talked to one of the locals, he said he had been building there for close to 10 yrs.I'm not sure if it was Jesse.
