Aye, was a cheap nasty plate at that race, I'll give you that. Normally pretty thick though, as thick as the WC plates that I've seen IIRC.

I just saw USA has 45 athletes competing at the worlds. Australia has 60, new zealand has 46, swiss has 36, then most others are single digits or teens and 20's.
That being said, will be interesting to see medal count when its all over based on those numbers.

shorter tracks in World Cup breed more injuries it seems like. I assume it's due to the smaller time gaps.
latest dirttv vid is stellar! looks to me like the full on dh rigs are going faster than the shorter travel bikes...while barel/lopes are definitely pinning, they look a bit more ragged than the big bike riders...

On flatter trails you can hit the ground harder......wrecking on slope usually isn't as solid a hit......so it seems..

Surprising that CRC is on the 951. Socom would be THE choice on this course. And I was secretly hoping they would be on a Socom Evo.

Dirt's chesty cam clip makes it look like a very narrow course.

Although the course isn't as steep and tech as the normal WC rounds, I bet there's never been a Champs that will be as close as this one.
Can't wait for Champery to have the champs tho....
