There are certain people at work who when they send you a meeting invitation, without even looking at it you know it's a meeting request for that day. This annoys the shit out of me.
Marketing lady (who was bosses wife) wasn’t very good at making print ads. She got fired this week. . . (Slept with a customer I guess). Anyway, working on making a new ad for my local farm newspaper.
Greetings comrades. Spent the morning in the shop routing mortises in the slats for the lower shelf of the Big Green Egg rolling cart. Just some sanding to do and it will be time for glue-up.

Here. Haley got her braces on yesterday and is getting used to them. She also had the chance to meet the Chief of Police for one of local cities that I work with. I've been working with him for almost 5 years now, so he's been tracking her racing, and she was a bit surprised when he asked about it.
Wifey's cousin comes in tomorrow. They are going to a wake for a friend that died unexpectedly from heart failure. so I have the girls most of the weekend. Maybe karting tomorrow. Maybe.

Meanwhile, JeffCo has closed a bunch of elementary schools and some middle schools due to declining enrollment. Perhaps you could bus your kids up to some of our closed campuses?

Was trying to buy an old fruit warehouse. Did all the background work. Concrete has no rebar. Much toxic dust coating everything. Not enough water available to run fire suppression system.
I told the owner his best bet is to tear it down and salvage the wood. Looks like he is doing that now. Theres over 600 2"x12"x18' joists and who knows how many 2.5'x2.5'x18' beams and posts.
