The Bell Influx seems to have good reviews from what I heard and read. Most said that it has good ventilation, light weight, comfortable and that the helmet looks good. It also has an affordable price.
I'm not quite sure about the 661 Recon though.
It's always better to check...

sounds like something from "The Last Samurai" where you move too fast that you can only comprehend your movements after doing them.
But seriously, get well soon TJ! I for one surely don't have half the balls you do!
That sounds like a normal thing to do if you ask me... The more you progress, the more crucial you'll feel with every single detail of your ride until you get to a point where you'll know your bike like the palm of your hands...
2 finger user here too and I don't see any trouble with it... in fact, this subject never really crossed my mind at all till just now that I stumbled on this thread... I guess besides preference, the terrain is also a big factor on this subject so if I ever get the time to do more technical...
I have to admit, this is freaking impressive! Seeing the vid brought back memories of Bob Burnquist's grind-to-base-jump over the grand canyon!
The camera angles were just amazing here! Totally something worth doing again if I were Red Bull!
