PIP is also a means of telling someone to GTFO and hoping they will just leave on their own.
had exactly that happen in my group a couple years ago, maybe 2018 or 19? old timer. they put him on a pip. next day he submitted for retirement.
had some delicious samosas, garlic naan, and lamb korma. dude even though in some kind of fried plantains which were also delicious.

As others have said, PIP is really a formality to fire with just cause. If you say “do x by y” and it doesn’t happen, easy peazy.
as much as I bitch here, I’m rooting for the kid. I just can’t figure it out, and it might be time to stop trying.
Apparently she wants in "in kart" shot added. So, off to K1 this weekend to get it filmed and then edited before submission. Unfortunately all the in-kart from last weekend is super shaky.
