Good Morning Monkies! 8 more working days until funemplyment. A review of my PTO benefit indicates 7 weeks plus 26 hours so next week will be only be 2 days as I intend to leave nothing on the table.

I am feeling pretty good after yesterday's bike rides, I will not be riding today but will hit a similar routine tomorrow. Turns out my road bike is still kick assault, no matter what graphics you slap on a frame you cannot beat campy or steel.

Have an awesome day and do not forget to include biking content in your life. :)

Well Good Mornin to you too Mr. Midge!

Had a good ride last night. Cleared some stuff I haven't before, mainly using my newfound prowess on flat pedals to hop around until I could get around/through it. Of course then my dropper post stopped being a dropper post as things turned gnarly on Dakota Ridge. Gonna have to see about getting that fixed as I've got copious amounts of riding in my near future.

Overindulged on food, beer and cigars with the BIL last night. Buffalo wings, burger with bacon and fried egg and Korean fried chicken were consumed. Drafts, bottle and pitchers of beer were consumed. Feeling groggy today, but I have no regrets.

Took the SIL's entry-level Mercedes into work as it's supposed to rain and didn't feel like putting the top/doors on the Jeep at 1am last night. Worst automatic transmission I've ever driven in a vehicle, in the history of transmissions or vehicles.

Woke up to a tracking number for my wheels, so that helped the hangover.

Howdy! I guess staying up until 2:30am wasn't a good idea after all. Oops.

Interesting drive this morning. I saw a Renault Clio V6 Sport, which I don't know a whole lot about other than I'm pretty sure it is a mid-engine rear wheel drive hatchback; hellz yeahz. Saw another AMG C63s, which is just an absolute beast of a limo and then saw two McLarens. Pretty good to be a car nerd these days.

Back in the day Mercedes was known for excellent automatics... the CVT I have in the Subaru has a delayed acceleration feature that I initially found annoying, I don't notice it now.

where the trails are
Yesterday was a beast; worked through my lunch ride plan and well into the evening. I should go for a quick ride after this cup of coffee. Went out for a beer and something to eat to commemorate another successful trip around the sun, ended up having two beers and no dinner. I'm hungry as a mo-faux right now.

Looking forward to seeing a good old friend this weekend and riding some sweet trails.

then my dropper post stopped being a dropper post
which droopy pole are you using??

Today's Le Car? Except for the huge reliability issue, they were a fun car back in the days of Reagan & Thatcher.

I too need a new derper post. Gotta get funding situated first, but I know what I want.

Race Face Turbine. Gonna try and fiddle with the cable tension to see if that does it. Supposedly they are quite finicky. Hoping I didn't somehow get grease into the brake mechanism when I lubed the seals the other night.

I had seen that sawstop thing many years ago.........how the F does that work?
The saw puts a tiny current through the blade, when your jimmydean touches the the blade, the sawstop mechanism detects the change, and fires a brake into the blade, all in 5 ms, the spinning energy left in the blade drives it below the table.

Good Morning!!!

Slightly lethargic today...was out late last night playing some tunes with buddies at the Open Mic in the bar down the road. Lots of somber guitar songs preceding us, so it didn't take much to be an uptempo hero in that joint. We had 'em out dancing within two measures. Had a few Kolsch pints from the local brewery which was really good. A very fun night...

....then I return to work. Two different production meetings and a huge sign project for a community college to try and decipher awaits me in the next 6 hours, so off I go...

Go out and be the example of how to do it right, today.

This is sage advice. Never leave anything on the table.

You hit the new part? How was it?

I have a fairly new 9point8 that supposedly has similar guts to the RF. Mine droops just fine but it stopped holding pressure so the shaft barely extends. Going to sprinkle a little Viagra on it and hope for the best.

Didn't follow it all the way to the end (did the roundabout part then took the Baill Out line) but what I did ride is a bit less rugged than the rest of Dakota Ridge. Still fun nonetheless.

The trail fairy did visit the Morrison Slide trail and armored up that one switchback coming down into MW. They did a good job, it's now ride-able.

At least its convenient to remove the saddle and post head in order to add more air. :shakefist:

I got two weeks of vacation payed out when I left my last job, then took two months off between gigs.

I gather from this that you have never driven a Smart fortwo.
