One thing I forgot to mention earlier:

When Locke panicked inside the cabin he knocked over the lantern which then broke and set the floor afire. When Ben came out of the cabin a few minutes later, he was carrying a lantern and the building did not appear to be engulfed in flames as it would have surely been by that point.

Those theories were pretty interesting. Man, I love this show. I just wish it was already done so I could marathon watch every episode.

That's how I got into it just recently. I watched all of seasons 1-2 in about a week and a half on Netflix, then a few episodes on abc.com to catch up.

The producers said that "once you see the finale, you'll see why the show has to end after 5 seasons."

They also nicknamed the episode "the rattlesnake in the mailbox."

everyone from the plane that had an ailment... was cured on the island... and when we see what seams to be a flashback, (but isn't) Jack is going to a funeral! Maybe by them leaving the island all of their sickness' come back and kill them off? Maybe Jack is feeling guilty about all of them dying off all around him... like he killed them by saving them!

exactly... by making the call... they were rescued off of the island (which had cured several of them of their individual illnesses)... now in their regular lives off of the island, their illnesses etc. are back and killing them off! and Jack feels guilty about it!

I am just saying!

I so called it after the first "flashback" sequence! He wasn't having flashbacks, the show was flashing foward to what happens after they get off the island.

Any guesses who was in the coffin? Kate said, "Why would I go to the funeral," like she didn't like the person. And they made a point of letting us know it was in the ghetto?

I think it's more likely that they threw that in there to show that Jake has lost his grip on "reality." Notice when he said the thing about his dad that the other doctor and the nurses looked at him like, "You poor bastard."
