The Occupy Wall Street mob’s main complaint is incoherent but seems to be centered on the complaint that the wealthy have more than they have and they want it.

Until they get some of what they have, they are going to occupy public land and become a nuisance. Their delusion leads them to believe that sooner or later someone will pay attention to them, and that if stay there long enough they will get their way. Of course, there is no way they will get their way, and the longer they remain the more likely it is that their behavior will degenerate and that they will become unruly.

They are simply there to occupy and disrupt.

its not that they have more; its that its easy to be successful and make a sh*tload of money when you're the one writing the rules of the game and pulling all the strings in the system.

How else can you explain large numbers of people who can simply dedicate their time and energy to occupying a public space until they are physically removed by force? What kind of loser would do that?
This kind.

And now I know where you get your talking points from.

Who has not presented a budget in over 800+ days?

Ok, so how is it any better when people like the Koch Brothers or Art Pope are paying money to corrupt the system with their fake grassroots movement to suit their incoherent nonsense which is far more harmful to society?

Fantastic! I knew it was just a matter of time before the attacks on the Tea Party were to begin!

But first let’s look at some differences.

The Tea Party wants to return the country and its government to its Constitutional foundation. "Occupy Wall Street" wants to transform the US into some fantasy socialist utopia with zero basis in reality.

OWS protesters arrested: 700+
Tea Party Protesters arrested: 0

The tea party laughs at OWS from their productive jobs.

you are wrong. the tea party is a crucial movement and is a full time job in and of itself!

http://www.nytimes.com/2010/03/28/us/politics/28teaparty.html
Now whose the hippie? NYTimes indeed. :disgust1:

When Tom Grimes lost his job as a financial consultant 15 months ago, he called his congressman, a Democrat, for help getting government health care. Then he found a new full-time occupation: Tea Party activist.
Hey Syadasti, can I get an irony check on that?

Main difference between the Tea party and the Wall Street demonstrators:

1. The Tea Party is primarily made up of personally responsible people who want less government control and the ability to succeed based on their own hard work.

2. The Wall Street mob is primarily made up of people without a sense of personal responsibility who want the government to act as an agent to take from others and give it to them.

Big difference.

Obama supports the Wall Street demonstrators and condemns the tea Party PRECISELY FOR THAT REASON!!

Then I'm confused. The Teabaggers should be demonstrating outside of wall street and the unemployed's should be demonstrating outside government establishments?? Why isn't this happening?

Gotta love these OWS idiots classic liberal mindset

And in contrast?

The point is, ladies and gentlemen, that Greed, for the lack of a better word, is Good. Greed is right. Greed, works. Greed clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit. Greed, in all of its forms, Greed for life, for money, for love, knowledge, has marked the upward surge of mankind and Greed, you mark my words, will not only save Teldar Paper, but that other malfunctioning corporation called the USA. Thank you very much.

We protested last November at the ballot box and will protest again November 6th 2012 just because i'm not wasting my valuable time (i have a job) standing out side some county building holding a sign dosen't mean we won't be heard.

The more the media and leftists try to demonize conservatives, republicans and tea party members the better it tells us who you really fear. I got a kick outta how leftists are scared sh*tless of Palin why else do they attack her constantly?

Please keep up the rhetoric it’s exposing you as the fools that you are.

I'm at a loss for words. The guy sitting next to me who probably pulls down $1.5mm/year, who works just as many hours and has for the last 10 years isn't that over the top. There is some sense of irrationality to be had with the Tea Party avengers. It's just so sad that the Libertarian party gets correlated with those idiots.

And HK, if you really want a Tea Party world as you claim, move to Colorado Springs. The city is so against taxes of any form that its roads are falling apart, parks are overgrown, and they don't even have trashcans on public streets because there is no money for removal. It's there waiting for you, go get it.

You can call out all the SEIU thugs, ACORN, moveon.org and Black Panthers you want Obama and Co. are his $$$ supporters are not there.

Son, we have to have a talk: The Libertarian party is correlated with those idiots for a good reason.

Hell, look at Ron Paul (yes, even though he's not a Libertarian-he's the poster grandfather of a libertarian).

Paul is an idiot or a racist, a shameless opportunist, and he tends to attract a lot of support from people who are stupid/racist/opportunistic. This surprises you?

Oh Hello Kitty...

And who has a job in an industry that offers no societal value?.... Now that is is irony at its finest.

Condescending from the start, dismissive, and dodging people that are actually giving you the time of day to partake in an intelligent debate despite your initial attitude. I won't piddle paddle around like the rest. Face it guy....you're a selfish cvnt. If that's how you choose to live so be it. FSM doesn't seem to care either way. Only problem is that the vagina you popped out of happened to be located in the USA. If you hate freedom so much there are plenty of countries that you can move to which may be more suitable.

What exactly does it matter how much he makes or you make or I make or what anyone makes the point you seem to not grasp is that he EARNED it and therefore it is not yours or anyone else’s right to tell him or me what to do with it be it spending or taxes.

If you feel so guilty about all this money you’re burdened with then send the IRS a supplemental check. If you are so disgusted that the city you live in doesn’t have basic services because the voting public doesn’t want to pay for it, then I suggest you run for city council and change it.

In case you have not been paying attention all public entities are having budget issues and unlike the Fed they can’t just go out and print money they have just a few options raise taxes, issue bonds or cut back on services none are real popular but one doesn’t affect the citizens in the pocketbook as much during this recession.

Oh and by the way we support the Colorado economy every summer by making a trip to Durango, Crested Butte and or Breckenridge to ride and spend our Texas dollars. Hell I just stimulated the Steamboat Springs economy last month by ordering a new fleet of bikes a Moots vamoots RSL, mootox RSL and a psychlo x RSL so you should be thanking us Texans for being so generous.
