I'm waiting a week or two on the RAV4 EV and am waiting until Black Friday sales for the minivan. Not planning on skiing until Dec 31 anyway.
I saw the forecast for snow, then drizzle, followed by moar snow, then freezing drizzle and decided it was time. Mostly so my wife won't kill me.
Van's got Blizzaks. But to be honest - I preferred the Michelin X-Ice that we had on it before the Blizzaks.
I run studded snows, nothing better than when they are fresh...
Blizzaks on all 3 cars.
more of just getting the shoulders to be the exact same all around, I am using the table saw now, but I think I just need to go get a saw blade with flat teeth, and then have more patience.
for clarity, that I am doing right meow is placing the tenon piece flat on the table, and then raising the blade a little bit. the workpiece is not on end like in that video / jig
On my agenda this weekend.
No snow. Lame.
We got about 2 mm. Just enough to allow one to tell who parks in a garage and who doesn't on the drive in.

Why?
Better behavior on dry pavement, snow performance is comparable from my experience, quieter, and the Michelin's lasted WAY longer than the Blizzaks. I believe we got 5 winters out our X-Ice IIRC. Blizzaks had to be replaced after 3. Of course, the X-Ice were no longer available in the correct size, so I ended up with Blizzaks again.
Rode the bike to the store. To many Brandy's to drive. Blackberry this time. Drunky drunkington.
