well the thread is called best freeride bike.

I have to say my free ride bike is much worse than what he has. It's like a 30 year old 10 speed from Sears or something from my Dad.
i would think the worse your bike is the better you ride. if you can do intermediate stuff on a 30 year old bike. then once you get your hands on a good one. youll be insane

Here's mine. '05 Imp. Just took Breakout+ off, and put Shiver back on.

Am loving her again, she rips. Bottlerocket is getting jealous of ride time...

So did I when I got half way down and my back tire was not on the rock...
/QUOTE]

When I was looking at the first picture I was thinking there seemed to be a bit of a front wheel catching, fork depressing, throwing your ass over the bars type of divot in the rock face about 6' below where you were, lol

i hate the look of jackal frames. the top tube could be the ugliest thing in the world, and they really overdid it on the chainstay tubes. o well, i've never been a fan of that massive headtube junction they use, but the jackal really brings the grossness to a new level. would definitely be a stiff frame though.

Just picked this imperial up, and threw my 66 eta and 2.8 michy / 823 tubeless dh wheel on for fun. I'm thinking about building up a tubeless front wheel for this bike. Perfect amount of squish to match the 66 :D.
