'24 grip 2 revalve. I'm not convinced it will solve all the damping issues with the 38 VVC damper, but it will give me more parts I can use to tinker with it.
Have the same laying around here since end of Nov for my 34 Grip 2 but winter dirt season sees me more on the durp bike than the trail scalpel so it's been collecting dust. Curious on what you have to tell about it.

I first have to set up my workshop, because I recently moved, and the new shed is more storage shed than workshop right now... but this kit is hard to find in europe. I was visiting my girlfriends family in Poland, where a bikeshop happened to have it in stock, so I figured I'd grab it for coming season.

New trail bike for my boy. He turned 14 the other day and is soon as tall as me...
Time flies! The advantage is that we now share the same bike size.

This bike is almost completely build from left over, spare or second hand parts. Only new parts are the rear wheel and the front tire. I wouldn't build it much differently if it was for me :triniti: #spoiledkid

Dude, are you not loving your son? Isn't it well-established Ridemonkey wisdom that carbon bars will kill you, especially in daylight? Now you are even *really* making sure it happens with an integrated bar/stem model. :disgust1: ;)
I'm sure I've seen daytime TV movies about that, take out an insurance policy on the kid then put a carbon handlebar on their bike.

Huh, two German things not getting along, crazy!
It's almost as if one part was designed by Siemens, and the other part was designed by Siemens, but the day after.

New thing for the bike - me! Doc gave me clearance to ride again for the first time since September :)
Great news!

I was in the same boat: I broke my foot in late August and I was able to get back to it just in time for the start of the fatbike season. It feels great to be able to ride again. Enjoy! :)

Picked this up at a local shop as part of GT’s blowout sale. Going to swap a few things over from my old DH bike. Has a Boxxer Rush RC Debonair +, whatever that is. And an X-Fusion HC3 coil. Know nothing about that either. The Super Deluxe Ultimate from my Gambler will swap right over. The TRP Slate Evos feel pretty meh, but I’ll give them a shot. Pretty excited to throw a leg over it this summer. They seemed to go back to their old logo before they shut down. Too little too late?

I bought the same GT Fury; the price was too good to pass up. I will put on a set of Haye Dominion 4As and a Raceface Next wheelset(I already have) as those WTB ST i30 TCS 2.0, 32h rims will not cut it on real DH trails. I am thinking of having Avalanch work on the Boxxer Rush RC Debonair + and the X-Fusion HC3 coil or I might just wait until the Spring and see how it rides before making any changes.

Boxxer Rush RC Debonair + has 38mm sanctions, right?
believe so

I like my spaghetti edition boxxer. It's much better than the single crown fork it replaced. And remember, it's all about compliance these days :dirol:
true.

2016, so at least the 35mm version - at least its not the air version. got a chassis for super cheap (no spring, blown damper), coils were easy to find and cheap, and i picked up what might have been the very last boxxer ohlins damper.
