Has anyone tried the Avalanch Rockshox Boxxer 38 Cartridge? I have heard the RockShox Boxxer, with DebonAir rides a bit harshly and am thinking about going with Craig.

The Ohlins damper in 38mm boxxer?
Correct. It was only made for the 35mm boxxer, and only the 2015-18 models. The 2019 models is when 29" was first introduced, and I don't believe the damper is long enough. They stopped making the carts for other forks them as that was about the time they launched their own dh fork.

So, for my new GT Fury, I am putting a Float X2 on it (keeping the X Fusion) for when I send the X2 back to Fox for any stuck-down:happydance: issues. I am sending the Boxxer to Avy to work their magic and upgrade the brakes to Hayes Dominion A4s. The drive train is not the best, but I figure it will do for now.

Honest question... Why'd you sell your DH bike and then buy an enduro bike...to turn it into a DH bike? Wouldn't the v10 be better than it in most ways?

V10 was a great bike but for my style and nasty lines rearward travel and high pivot fits me better...

The range is 206mm rearward 30mm, 200mm front wheelbase is good 62.5 head angle .

I crushed lines on this bike at 170 over what the V10 did with how I ride...doesn't pop like V10 but gets down in the nasty and rips...

I traded V10 for this bike,a kenevo expert turbo and a couple forks...I knew this bike was a DH bike disguised as a Enduro..so it made sense.

I do also have some shimanos that at some point some seal in them stopped working, but those have been marinating on the garage floor for the past while :busted: :busted: :busted: :busted: might go inspect what was actually wrong with them

yeah, that will be my backup plan, I asked a buddy, and he said some shops dont like ordering from BTI because their minimum order size is quite high, going to do some more digging around, or head over to the franken brake thread :busted:
No minimum order size (though there is a fee for orders under $50). There will be shipping on it but I wouldn't think it would be more than $20.

Nice, I was riding and swearing at my Mezzer on Saturday, seems the 3mm O ring was too small, couldn't get a 3.5mm.

Are the yellow bits painted on or can you remove them? I don't think I could deal with the Ohlins questions from other riders.

My Selva looks pretty much like the 35 my bike came with, it's great, I get no questions about it.

So hard to keep track of saddles, DH saddles, 29er saddles, gravel saddles, fatbike saddles.

Found some Nukeproof stock being cleared out on Sports direct.com

Loved these pedals so grabbed a backup set for future.

Whatever is cheap for a shuttle DH bike where I am peddling to the parking lot and back. I found an old Titec Besearker saddle to put on Banshee Legend. It's amazing how big those saddles were.

lol "dh saddle"-you won't be sitting on it, right? so small so as to be out of the way, and comfort doesn't matter...apparently i din't ride "real" dh since i don't have a dedicated dh bike, but wtb silverado and sdg bel air have always been my faves overall...

Pretty much. In my searching today I learned that Tioga spyder saddles are still on the market

do tell if good, did you get the road set or the gravel one?
Road, rim brake version with front derailleur for a restomod road bike project. Came yesterday, will take a little time until I get to install it. Looks pretty high quality so far. Interestingly, it shipped from Germany and arrived in 5 days, no customs or tax added (or it was included in the price???).

i like the basket on the commuter so much. cleaned up the install there, and added a smaller version to the garvel bike.
