    Get juicy 7's and be done... All parts are readily available and they are easy to maintain. Formulas are cool but not really worth the extra dough and hassle.

    you can ge tused sh t off eaby fer cheap. I got my dura-ace cassette for 40 bucks bairly used.

    front derailluer is 200 grams front shifter is 130 chainring is 40 his pedals look like Shimano PD-M424 Pedals 620 grams compared to mg-1 378... So thats about 612 grams he could save... or 1.34 lbs... Thanks, I don't want to argue I'm just sayin.

    obviosly money is not an issue... why not get all the forks ur interested in and test which one you like better.

    single plys will do that for you... I had my bighit down to 35 with single plys.
