OK Guys/gals. Wasn't sure where to post this but I just had a blast at Highland mtb park this week BUT, my bike doesn't cut it. I have a Balfa bb7. My other steed is a Titus Supermoto. Although I didn't try the Titus at Highland I think both are outdated. I want a jumping bike. I am an...
I am going to be up in NE this summer and need advice on which places are best for intermediate riders. I am no expert, I will be near Sunday River, Highland and Attitash. Which is best for wimps like me! ;)) I am an older rider biut enjoy the DH experience. I usually ride Diablo and Killington...
I checked out Snows trail map. There seems like a decent trail network in terms of number of trails and mileage. How come there isn't much written up about it? Is it any good for an intermediate rider?
I have been riding for awhile but a riding buddy of mine is very critical of my braking technique. He says I should use only 1 finger. I use 2. He really bugs me about it as if it is a very bad habit. Is it? Am I really doing this wrong?
Thanks
I am a beginner dh rider. I need a new fork for my Balfa bb7. I now have a 7 inch boxxer. I have a chance to get an 09 (new) Marz 888 rcv for $540. IS that a good fork at a good price? I have heard there are "dive" problems with the Marz forks?
I wasn't sure where to post this thread, but since I ride at Diablo I decide to post here.
I have a Titus SuperMoto that is set up for FR/DH. My second bike is a Balfa bb7. I bought the Titus hoping to get a lighter bike for lift served biking that has an active braking: Well I got that, but...
I have a bb7 in good shape but my boxxer is shot. I could replace it with a used boxxer or Marzocchi (888, JrT, Drop, etc). What fork should I get. RS or Marz?
I want something with 7 inch (possibly 8 inch) travel. Your advice is appreciated.:imstupid:
I need some suggestions for trails at Plattekill. I am an experienced rider but I don't do too many drops (only small ones) I would classify myself as intermediate. Could anyone recommend trails to do (or stay away from?) Thanks.
Just want to give props to Matt the bike mechanic at Diablo. My Hayes disc brakes failed me Friday and Matt went out of his way to set me up for the rest of the day so I did lose much riding time. Thanks Matt you da man!
'm going to do a trip to Sunday River and Attitash (August). I'm from Long Island and looking for anyone that wants to go along and ride together, share expenses, good stories and music.
Anyone interested pm me.
looking to do multi and single day trips to NJ, NY, Vt and NH. DH and freeride. I live on long island and am would like to ride with others from the area. PM me.
Anybody riding Diablo from Long Island? I ride Diablo (as well as other places) and will share a ride. We can use my car and split cost or the other way around. Let me know if interested.
Need advice on making my Titus Supermoto more lift-served friendly. I just got it used and it feels more like a trail bike (not a bad thing:biggrin:). I want to use it for light DH and light freeride. I am not an aggressive rider. I ride at Diablo, Killington
And Snowshoe. I believe I can make...
I'm considering buying a supermoto. Ive got only $1500 to spend. Is that a good bike for Northeast lift served areas like Diablo, Killington etc. my other choiuce was an SX Trail but they are like $2800 used.:disgust1:
