Auburn is close and has a lot of good riding. Go talk to the guys at auburn bike works. They are my favorite shop. Closer to sac is granite bay. Some ok riding. I have heard of some good secret stuff around there...
I have a fox 36 that I need to have the uppers swapped on. Not something I trust myself doing. Any ideas of where to take it? Also any idea on how much it's gonna cost?
hey guys, moved to oakland area for work. I like to ride tech stuff and bmx. I am out of shape so the uphills will be slow going but I can hold my own and ride almost anything.
Ill be volunteering like always, forget that up hill stuff... plus my bike is haggard, it needs a fork and front wheel, i dont know if ill even bring the bastard.

i am going to hopefully go ride in granite early on sat morning and i think its supposed to be in the hundreds, so i dont know about building on sat, we will see, and as for riding in rush my bmx is broken so im on a 26 inch currently. ill be on a white prophet, im prolly gonna go ride there...

for sure yeah tramp bikes are super easy, but i got them down really well on the tramp and on the lake bike, and i stuck my first one on my bmx out of a bowl at truckee skate park, so im workin my way up, im thinkin get them on lock and then the perfect spot to get them down over a jump would be...
i know henry he is currently living in downieville in the summer with his GF cutting trees, and in the winter they are in reno where his girl is going to school, and he got out of biking and into throttle
when it comes to d ville i prefer the lighter bikes, but i grew up riding it on a santacurz chamelian, with rim brakes and xc set up, so any suspension is super sweet, but the heavy bikes arent as fun on bump jumpin all the trails.
