Went to Clemson to ride early Saturday morning and really enjoyed the course. The new berms were sweet, the new table was huge compared to the pictures, and the step down where the wood ladder drop used to be is a blast. Road gap was cool too.

Remember after the Jack there used to be a ladder up onto a boulder and then a ladder off to the 3-4' drop.
Also, I remember after the cheese wedges after you crossed the little bridge someone put up a rock that would let you jump over the pipe.

I have been mountain biking for several years (mostly freeride) and want to try something new. We have a couple of skateparks in my town and I thought it would be fun...
On the first sequence of shots with the guy on the wall...the shadows are really cool because the sun seems overhead or slightly behind...it would be really cool to photoshop the rider out and create a shadow sequence.

I havent visited 26West since opening day so here is my follow up review from last Friday July 25. Let me preface by saying that I am not a great rider or DH racer. I love to ride and have ridden several bike parks. These are my opinions feel free to disagree

I will be heading up on Friday for my first visit since opening day. I made some comments about 26 after riding that first day so I will do a follow up to see what has changed since early June.
Crazylegs and Jondog have mentioned they have opened a few more features such as another gap jump...
This is just weird if you ask me. You make an announcement about a park; delay the opening (maybe because of rain or maybe because you weren't ready), have a horribly planned opening day with a ton of riders showing up, and then talk of shutting down because of low turnout after that?

I know in earlier posts someone said that Ryan wasn't a computer guy...maybe they should find someone to do some PR work for them here on Ride Monkey and other sites??? There is a good contingent of their potential customer base who get their ride fix right here.

I would add (those who love to flame get ready), that I went in expecting the level that was described in the press release. Maybe I'm naive and should have interpreted the announcement as potentially what the park might be someday if it was supported, but that is not...

Sure wouldn't mind if you ran that this coming August. Four of us are driving from South Carolina and buying lift tickets for 4 days...that would be a sweet deal for lodging.
