I have an older GT Ruckus full suspension bike hanging around. I've run out of beginner friends to give it to. It's been given away 3 times already, and keeps coming back! It's a fine starter bike for a burgeoning free rider or downhill enthusiast. Just looking to make room in the basement. I...
I find myself with a free weekend in northern Switzerland / southern Germany on May 6 and 7.
Can anyone recommend a ride in that area which will be dry that time of year?
I'm going to be in that area the weekend of Aug 20th.
There are loads of trails documented online. Looking for something with a nearby shop that would rent out high end bikes.
Can anyone field some recommendations?
I bought this "medium" frame new and never built from the US importer.
I built it.
I took it for an inaugural ride at Highland.
I found out that Zumbi bikes run small.
Very small.
Too small for my big ass.
If there is anyone out there who requires a small freeride/trail/enduro frame in...
I'm going to be out in Seattle next week for work. Trying to decide if I should stay the weekend.
I'd love to see some local trails if a kind soul wants to lead this guy on a group ride.
I just had the pleasure of checking out these guys' facility.

I thought I would share, since I hadn't heard of them yet. Super cool product, super nice guys.

So, I was called to Phoenix for work today and tomorrow.
Work took me until about noon today.
My flight back is not until Monday night.
When these facts combine, I have 4 full days to explore the southwest.
I want to see the grand canyon.
I'm thinking Sedona would be a good bet...
I just purchased a Superco frame (can't f-ing wait).
I want to put Saint cranks on it because it's a challenge and I have them already.
My conundrum is this:
Saint cranks have a 24mm spindle.
Mid BB takes a 1-5/8" OD bearing.
19 and 22 are the only common BMX spindle sizes, so that's...
Bike snapped on me riding to work this morning so I've got a spare...
Managed to get home with it! Now I don't have to wonder where the creaking noise is coming from.
The title says it all. I ran a search but didn't hit any results. Does anybody know? I suspect the KHE coaster can be adapted, and I know a roller-clutch hub can be swapped by reversing the bearing, but I don't know any others for sure.
Anybody know a good left-drive MTB hub with a disc...
I just started a really good day job and I don't have the time for a bike-related side job. They're asking me if I know anyone who could replace me. It's to do with belt drive systems and the occasional foray into other components. It's not really exciting technologically, mostly cheap...
The title says it. I just got a new place. The previous tenant left a vertical washer/dryer combo with a non-working dryer and a working normal dryer beside it. I looked in the busted dryer out of curiosity and found what I believe to be crack-related paraphernalia. Please chime in if you can...
Is anyone you know looking for a mechanical engineer? I am one of those and I am in serious need of job. I can draw things. I can machine things. I can program things. I can break stuff in a scientific manner. I can even talk to people (that's a rare skill for an engineer). I'm in the Boston...
Anyone have an old dual crown fork they're not using?
I need a DC Fork to test a stem I'm designing. It doesn't need to be anything special. Cheaper the better, my only requirement is it has to be 20mm thru.
Edit: I have an old QR Jr. T. I could make do with 20mm thru lowers to swap onto that.
