We were woken 3 times last night by the damn elk herd bugling right outside our windows. They just started again...

Today was "Bike Day", replacing "Bike to Work Day", since no one works in offices anymore. Several orgs had aid-stations up with some snacks and swag. I went after work and rode around to replenish my Buff supplies and get some other stuff. On the way back I called the paramedics for a non-responsive native person unconscious on the side of the trail. They were breathing, but that was about it, possibly heavily heavily drunk. Even if they were just sleeping it off, it was around 6pm and temps already into the 40s. Even if doesn't get much colder (won't due to the cloud cover), you can definitely succumb to hypothermia. The dispatcher really wanted to send them on the other side of the creek for some reason, but we got it all worked out and they showed up. About 2 months ago I had to call the paramedics on someone that I found passed out from a concussion.
