Got the "interior design" bug after visiting a nice B+B this past week. Want to turn our "EVERYTHING IS BEIGE" bathroom into some a little more interesting. A few other things here and there too. The previous owners really enjoyed having rooms be all the same color....our bathroom is beige tile with beige walls and beige trim. Our son's room was green walls with green carpet, green trim and doors, and green curtains. WTF?
…and kept warm under the vendor’s arm pit. The only way.

That grade after the Eisenhower tunnel is super knarly.
Climbing up to it, yes. All the ski hills looked cut up though - no freshies in sight. Vail is brown.
Was it snowy up there?
Vail always seems to melt out long before the other resorts.

The folks that run the taco truck in town had an accident and have been closed for two weeks. They announced they were back open this morning, so tacos for lunch is a must. Gonna give them all the business for the next month or so. They seem to get traffic, so that's good. This is a tough market for a truck, but everyone loves tacos. Especially good ones.

I think it's the hot air from all the haute bourgeoise bloviating about the latest eatery or how something should absolutely be done about the housing crisis but you know... down valley.

OTR etc were all stellar, easily boot to (nearly) knee deep. Ridge was less stellar. Overall 8.25/10... would bang again.
Donated a fair amount of blood to the cycling gods this morning. Was on the single speed road bike, took the suicide route in an area where the Greenway turns from gravel to concrete. Must have been too heavy on the front brake because as soon as I hit the concrete over the handlebars I went. Some pretty deep gouges in my left knee and elbow. Had the kind of impact where you just lay there and wheeze pretty heavily for about a minute. Ruined my long sleeve jersey. Have a feeling I'm going to hurt even more later. Probably time to helmet shop again.

Just arrived in GJ and am heading out for some Lunch Loops / Holy Cross trail action. My buddy is the Brewer at Rockslide and is going to let me chase him around this afternoon.
