Hangover was kinda meh. But the Hogs were good clean fun. Got to show off some French lines to some BC people. One last ride tomorrow and we're heading to Flagstaff for the night, and cooler temps.

So we are getting the front of the house refloored. The carpet in the living room is terrible and the wife has wanted to do laminate forever. After taking to the guy, we are having them do the whole front. So pulling the tile up in the front and bathroom then pull the carpet in the front office and living room. I thought it was going to be $10k and it's actually only $6500, so I'm happy. We have it to spend, so why not. 2 days of work, trying to decide if we should take off for it or just leave during the day.

Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should...

+++++

I've always wanted to float the lazy river (2 drink minimum™) in the "winter."

And despite what the calendar and solar orbit says it's still fucking winter in Island Park -- 3' on the ground though melting quickly.

So a plan was hatched:

Drive 2 miles to the end of the "plowed" road
Ski to the put in (2 miles) with the SUPs on sleds
Float back to the house with the sleds and skis on SUPs
Drink beer
Profit
9/10 would float again (inflating SUPs @ put in next time as sled/SUP interface was suboptimal)

I have no idea where I am
Some unexpected shit hit the fan in the middle of prepping for my hike, about had a meltdown. Blew off work and went to go for a hike and get some time in the woods. But since I needed to set up my new shoes, trekking poles, etc. and test them, moar surprises. Ugh

Rhodos are blooming so that helps.

And I’d post the pic I took of said purty Rhodos but I can’t figure out how to resize the image on an iPhone. 6.5M is too big for teh monkey.

Yeah the exit from the hood is straight up zero to 60 in like 20ft. For those of you that don't know, yes, I live in a van down by the river!
I pulled out behind a cattle truck and figured I was safe from harassment because we all had to stack up on the cows.

I almost never use the brakes coming down from the Eisenhower.
Well try it. Other users of the road may get in your way. ;)

It's kinda like the "no dab" challange. Where you try to go do a techy uphill and try not to dab, right? But usually everyone does. But it's how many that counts.

when you go to upload directly from phone pick size in the photo picker interface. I think bottom right. Large should do it if Original too big.

I tried the no dab but that grade was ridiculous. My truck wanted to coast around 90 mph and the trailers/trucks/campers were doing too much dancing at like 45 mph. Too fucking dangerous and over the speed limit for me.

That’s not an option apparently with this phone. I seem to recall the option of choosing a size but that has gone away. iPhone 14 was delivered yesterday though. So new spendy box for making snappies and navigation.
