Saw a 1.5 steerer 66RC2X on BTI and Ride This today. Read a couple of sites over the last month that said this was going to be OEM-only. Is it now going to be sold aftermarket? About when will these hit the market?

Hey Brian,
Are the internals for 07 888's the same size on the 06 888s. I ask b/c I'm thinking of either upgrading my internals to the SL or just getting a new fork if the internals are not interchangeable. Thanks...

Brian: would it be a good idea to use a 2007 66 SL ATA 180 mm for my DHR (now use a 888 RC2X) and still have the same head tube height, seems to be about the same. And also use it on my heckler for heavy use (have an AM1 for XC) in the 140-150 mm travel mode, it does get shorter when you decrease the travel doesn't it?

Would be great to have such a flexible choice of set ups available for my bikes.

it does get shorter by the amount of travel you subtract, just like uturn or the likes.
