Well it's been posted here before but what the hell.
Pictured build;
Frame: Sinister R9
Fork: Boxxer WC
Shock: Fox DHX 5.0/steel spring
Headset: King
Stem: E.13 Ali
Bars: Sunline V-One low rise
Grips: Sunline thin grips
Cranks: Shimano XT
Shifter/derailer: Sram X.0
Cassette: Shimano Ultegra
Chain: Sram PC991 hollow pin
Guide: E.13 LG-1 w/ taco and E.13 chain ring
Brakes: Shimano Saint calipers / XT reservoirs & Dangerboy levers
Pedals: AtomLab AirCorps
Saddle: SDG I-Fly
Post: SDG I-Beam
Wheels: Hope Pro II's laced to Mavic 721's w/ Dt Comp. spokes and brass nipples
Tires: Maxxis Minion DHF's 2.5 w/ DH tubes
Pictured weight was 40.2lbs
Since then I've taken the XT cranks off (bad encounter w/ rock meeting my down tube and chainring) and replaced them w/ Saint cranks. Replaced the DH tubes for regular XC tubes to make up for the weight gained w/ the Saints. Lighter spring rate as well. No further problems, but haven't re-weighed. I'm betting it's right around the same ball park though.

those sinister are sweet bikes, they perform really well
I'm loving it. When I first got on it as far as small bumps felt I really couldn't believe the "floating" feeling the bike had. It corners amaizingly well too. Couldn't be happier.

it could have been lighter with smaller cranks, lighter pedals, lg1, i beam carbon, carbon bar and bolt on stem, air shock and fork but i wanted reliability and a good solid feel(and cheaper...;)) so that's the setup i came up with

its a good solid set up, race bike all the way.

I went and spent alot more money, but if you work hard play harder. Plus my wife was kind enought to say spend as much as you want just get my a DH bike to

I rode Jasons up at Snowshoe, I think he is ones of those JermanTown cycles riders and his felt really good

Nice & good setup...I have been consider it before but I afraid I am not capable to control the single pivot bike(currently I am riding Sunday).

Hope can see you post out the action picture @ here!!

I want to play!

Specs:
small sunday team
sunline headset
sunline integrated stem
sunline bars
sunline grips
boxxer team
dhx5 w/ 325# rcs ti coil
shimano saint brakes (7 front, 6 rear)
deemax wheels
minion dh-f ust 2.5 front and rear
x7 shifer / x9 (shortcage)
srs guide
gravity megaexo cranks / megaexo bb
wellgo magnesium pedals
thompson post
sette italia saddle
sram pg951 chain
sram pg950 cassette
-------------------------------
40lbs, 11oz

How's that for just barely squeezing in under 41! A lighter post/seat will help followed by some gravity lights and I am done as can be (hoping to drop sub-39 after those). Amazingly enough, the whole bike weighed in at 33lbs before the tires and front rotor went on. I didn't expect the weight increase to be 7 pounds!

Very nice. Man I want those wheels. But I would destroy them in a week at our local place.

I haven't nuked my 823s on my other bike yet after two seasons of Whistler and shore riding so I am confident I won't kill these :)
