Dude...he has a scale shot. Even if that shot is rigged, there's no point arguing about it unless you can get his exact build on a spreadsheet with all the correct weights and be see if you're within 5% of his posted weight.strait up, I call BS. really. You want to argue over the weight of my bike? I don't. You need to get out and ride some more instead of memorizing the weight of componentsstrait up, I call BS. Double tracks, big fat nevegals, old V10 frame, no way sub 40
Im gonna call 45lbs. I have a similar build with only one DT, but a 888 at 46..........Dude...he has a scale shot. Do believe I saw you at Northstar last weekend for the Gypsy race, but I could have sworn that you had a 40 and not a Boxxer.here is my Driver, it's around 39.5lbs

it has a .5* slacker HT than the V10. looking at the geometry of both bikes, they look near identical. How is the Driver 8 to ride? Slack enough to be used as an all-out-DH?
Seems sooo nice.
If it is the "Pinkmaggit" I am thinking of then possible but not likely, he is from over here in NZ but I may stand correctedDo believe I saw you at Northstar last weekend for the Gypsy race, but I could have sworn that you had a 40 and not a Boxxer.
After riding it for about 15 hours since I got it I can say it rides awesome IMO. My previous ride was an 08 Bullit with Coil Totems. This is a lot stiffer, in the rough it is super awesome and the differences are night and day. I'm 80kg but I just put the soft spring in the boxxers and it feels even better. The RC4 in the back is really nice too. The built in mudguard protects the shock well and the rear is nice and stiff. I put Minion DHfs on it and they're great for the type of trails we have here. How does the Driver 8 ride? I've been wondering that for a while.
Me tooSo dope. Love it
Thanks. I like the blue and white combo for sure. It's a real smurfy bike, hahaI like that driver 8 dude...looks sick
I'm from NZ, there probably is one similar up where you are.Do believe I saw you at Northstar last weekend for the Gypsy race, but I could have sworn that you had a 40 and not a Boxxer.
Personally I feel it could be used effectively as a Full DH rig. I'm running the Boxxers with as much axle to crown and possible but it pushes the front up a fair bit, more so when you sit on it. I'd suggest seeing if you can test one out and make that decision for yourself, based on your riding/riding style etc.How is the Driver 8 to ride? Slack enough to be used as an all-out-DH?

Very SWEET!!!39.5 lbs
I will try to edit later with a scale pic.
I'd be more impressed if I didn't remember that that frame weights 2.9kg. How does it hold up? Is it anywhere close to durable?Liteville 901.
17kg - 37.5lbs.
wow.The frame is stiffer then any frame you know.
Making a frame stiff is not that hard compared to making it not selfdestruct itself on the first crash. The frame is stiffer then any frame you know.

It all depends what your looking for... Different people like different frames. Maybe he likes that 10" of travel vs an 8" travel bike, like a sunday, etc... I like my demo 9 compared to the new demo 8's a whole lot more in looks and that way it rides. So you'll have the lightest session 10 in existence, but it'll still be a session 10. Time for a frame upgrade, not wheel upgrade.
Yeswow.
but can you stand on the swingarm and not make it move?
