so obviously the pivot bolt arrived.............
Scale says 36.25 , mind you it needs some velcro, maybe a few decals and a race plate so call it 36.5 on the track.
Damn thats a DH beast, slack low and long... Hows it corner/ride looks good...my 224 evo, weighs in at 36 pounds.

nah i've had those for ages, tank strong + light = winOh nice! You won those free wheels at the race giveaway?
How are the angled cups with the slackers? What angle cup did you use? Any chance you can post a nice side shot to get a perspective? I'm thinking of getting the cc angleset and a single crown. thanks and the ride looks nice raw.Correct also the CC angled cups
It rides really perfect, it's a complete different feeling. The bike is more stabile at speed and the front runs better over obstacles. The offset is -1 and that 1 degree is a real big difference. But with a single crown???...... i've run before a totem in the socom with slackers but the bb was really low and i hit alot my pedals and with the angled set the bb will get even lower!!How are the angled cups with the slackers? I figured that the AC is the same from a Totem to a Boxxer so that shouldn't change too much. I was also thinking of putting the stock dropouts back on with the 1.5 angle cup. That may keep the BB a bit higher, not sure though.
With all the crop of new DH bikes coming out I still think the Socom has some of the cleanest lines ever. Nice mod with the CC headset. This is the best i've got

I won't do that, the slackers also give it a longer wheelbase then the CC. And for the Totem i know they say the AC is the same but the Boxxer fits the Socom way better then the Totem. I would never go back.It rides really perfect, it's a complete different feeling. The bike is more stabile at speed and the front runs better over obstacles. I have the 2008 "The Ones" which are going on my trail bike and I'm ordering the 2011 Ones for the DH bike. They are about 150g lighter for the entire system.Nice build cant see your going to shave much weight brake wise...
