I like the Imperial. This dude, Frenchy in NYC has one set up with a Monster and 3" Gazzis. It feels awesome. He also has a TMX. From the few I've ridden, Imperial's feel good in a variety of set ups.
edit: I love your question Seismic. Got work, be back in a bit to give you my perspective.
ive been there. never been in such a hurry to wait. You'll be very happy that you got this phase out of the way. Not only will the RL handle your size and riding style better, you'll get 99% of the attention on the mountain. That never gets old. enjoy this journey. plus, by getting an 05, the extra material BMW used in that frame will give you even more confidence.rockymt21 said:They said they are finishing up a batch now and will be finshing one in the end of January, 6 or so are claimed right now so I am trying to get my frame sold and get on that list. Once my v10 is gone, I am on there! New price on on the V10 also, $1,400 claims it for the frame and all the parts.Dan
Still looking forward for that review :devil:tmx said:LOL! Shortbus Claus!! The image is priceless. No slayer, Len's is not the one you're thinking of, though might be the same orangey porngey. hehe. porn-gee. neaky:

tmx said:Working on your comparison review Seismic. Have to edit it down from epic novel length to thread posting size. I hope some others who have ridden both bikes provide their thoughts as well.
I can't see any of the TMX pics Campy posted. Can anyone help? :redX: I see the tmx pic just fine though. teehee. That was such a fun weekend at Mtn Creek. What site did you get that pic off of? Don't suppose there are any of me airborn on there?? (or are they so horrendous you're sparing me the humiliation...if so, thanks!)
Nice Bike for sure!OrthoPT said:thanks! Here's a couple more... Any thoughts on tires?
Sounds like I have to be patienttmx said:Hey y'all, OrthoPT was my first bike friend in NYC. Welcome to the thread crazy neighbor. Geez D, how OLD is that shot of you in the park? Hey do you who's red and white Bronco-ish type truck that is on CPW with an old red oval Bklyn sticker on the side back window?
As for your tire inquiry, definately look into tires that roll. Over all kinds of terrain. And have good grip and superior tread design. I would definately go with black. hehe.
Seismic....(hanging my head in shame)....the editing process on my TMX to RL review proved useless as the epic novel has turned into an epic trilogy. sigh. I'm now in procrastination mode. You can ask xy9ine about that waiting game. Will be late, but not forgotten.
still i cling tenuously to my faint hope...tmx said:You can ask xy9ine about that waiting game. Will be late, but not forgotten.
