LOL! Shortbus Claus!! The image is priceless. No slayer, Len's is not the one you're thinking of, though might be the same orangey porngey. hehe. porn-gee. :sneaky:

I like the Imperial. This dude, Frenchy in NYC has one set up with a Monster and 3" Gazzis. It feels awesome. He also has a TMX. From the few I've ridden, Imperial's feel good in a variety of set ups.

edit: I love your question Seismic. Got work, be back in a bit to give you my perspective.

Looking forward :thumb:

They said they are finishing up a batch now and will be finshing one in the end of January, 6 or so are claimed right now so I am trying to get my frame sold and get on that list. Once my v10 is gone, I am on there! New price on on the V10 also, $1,400 claims it for the frame and all the parts.

ive been there. never been in such a hurry to wait. You'll be very happy that you got this phase out of the way. Not only will the RL handle your size and riding style better, you'll get 99% of the attention on the mountain. That never gets old. enjoy this journey. plus, by getting an 05, the extra material BMW used in that frame will give you even more confidence.

what did you find out about your rear hub?

sucks about the fork. there are always good deals on forks so let them come to you.

so you dont have the floater on the v10 right? with the wheel off, measure the distance between the drop outs and that should tell you the hub you have.

I do have the floater...

I guess ill measure between the drop outs then subtract the width of the floater?

Right?

Okay went to this Fox store with MX gear in the middle of Tokyo today. They had used and signed jerseys from Ricky 2003, Ricky 98, McGrath 97, Enslow 99, Stewart 2002, Henry 98. Wicked. I asked if I could buy one, but they said no.

Working on your comparison review Seismic. Have to edit it down from epic novel length to thread posting size. I hope some others who have ridden both bikes provide their thoughts as well.

I can't see any of the TMX pics Campy posted. Can anyone help? :redX: I see the tmx pic just fine though. teehee. That was such a fun weekend at Mtn Creek. What site did you get that pic off of? Don't suppose there are any of me airborn on there?? (or are they so horrendous you're sparing me the humiliation...if so, thanks!)

First of all, thats a beautiful tmx the green seems to have many shades. Anyway, the arrows look like solid rims. They look nice on brooklyn and they are strong! Maybe even look at Double Tracks...

**I just picked up a 2004 Sherman Slider Plus for my Race Link that will soon be mine. Still looking for a hub or wheel so if anyone has a spare, hook a brotha up!**

Nice Bike for sure!
welcome to RM, for sure!
Arrow all the way, for sure!

I just called Arrow to find out about their UST Dh rim but nothing looks promising for the near future. Sucks. I hope to have their 26" UST before next season.

Hey y'all, OrthoPT was my first bike friend in NYC. Welcome to the thread crazy neighbor. Geez D, how OLD is that shot of you in the park? Hey do you who's red and white Bronco-ish type truck that is on CPW with an old red oval Bklyn sticker on the side back window?

As for your tire inquiry, definately look into tires that roll. Over all kinds of terrain. And have good grip and superior tread design. I would definately go with black. ;) hehe.

Seismic....(hanging my head in shame)....the editing process on my TMX to RL review proved useless as the epic novel has turned into an epic trilogy. sigh. I'm now in procrastination mode. You can ask xy9ine about that waiting game. Will be late, but not forgotten.

Thanks, TMX! I'm honored to be your first bike friend. I have no idea who owns that truck. And, yes, it was a LONG time ago that the picture was taken..
